David Mold

David is a trained chef and a former round the world cyclist who came up with the idea of his first event management business whilst in Nepal having spent a memorable Christmas in Katmandu. Four Seasons Event Management was born in 1996 and started out as a cycle hire company in the New Forest. It soon grew and landed its first formal booking, a treasure hunt for The Cartoon Network, in 1997. High calibre clients such as Rolls Royce, Barclays Bank, McDonalds, JPMorgan and Disney soon started rolling in and the business was quickly established as one of the most successful in the South of England. Over the last 20 years David has run over 2,000 events for both public sector and private sector clients and he prides himself on overseeing and delivering fantastic, high quality experiences to a broad range of clients. The events range from corporate team building, offsites, award ceremonies, outward bound events, themed events, music festivals, sailing, kayaking and canoeing through to multi activity days, overnight camping events, conferences, outdoor conferences and meetings at locations throughout the UK.

David is responsible for all aspects of Withinnovation’s event production, operational activity and site management.

Dan Symons

Dan is an experienced music industry professional and a former guitarist who has performed and recorded music all over the world. Formerly a product manager for Sanctuary Records and the Marketing Manager for legendary record label Rough Trade Records, Dan has vast marketing, promotions and festival building experience having either toured with or worked on campaigns for some of the biggest artists on the planet, Coldplay, Lana Del Rey, Morrissey, Feeder, to name a few. In 2009 after 12 solid years of being in a band and working for record labels, Dan founded Band2market Ltd which has grown to be the most successful independent music marketing consultancy in the business helping artists and managers, large or small, navigate through the potential perils and pitfalls of the media landscape. Through his work in music and media, and by consulting across many music start ups and investment platforms, Dan has built a large network of senior media executives, investors and high net worth individuals.

Dan will oversee new business, corporate business opportunities and special events.

David Standing

David is a former professional cricketer and a hugely experienced businessman and corporate sales and marketing executive, currently a Partner at Accordant Partners who work with over 100 private clients to help them drive enquires, sales conversions and drastically improve profits via joint venture and equity partnerships across both B2B and B2C environments. Formerly the Sales and Marketing Director at Crown Golf and Operations Director and then Commercial Director at Esporta Health & Fitness, David comes with a wealth of experience in positioning a business and communicating effectively to prospective new clients and customers. Between 1986 and 1991 David travelled the world as a founder of the AJ Hackett Group, the innovators of the world’s first commercial Bungy Jumping operation, based in Queenstown, New Zealand. He was a core member of the team that created the concept of ‘adventure tourism’ with Bungy, White Water Rafting, Jet Boat and Helicopter operations. David grew the business turnover to $100m USD with profitable operations in the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Europe.

David is responsible for Withinnovation’s sales and marketing.

Carol Standing

Carol is a founding Partner of Accordant Partners and a very high calibre marketing executive and consultant who specialises in Digital Marketing. Formerly Carol was Head of Marketing at Crown Golf and previous to that for a decade held the position of European Head of Licensing / Head of UK Marketing for Weight Watchers, developing and running a product range worth £127m across 13 countries. During Carol’s time at Weight Watchers the company, which was originally owned by Heinz, sold to venture capital company Invus for $735m USD. Carol is a Chartered Marketer with a Degree in Economics and a Masters Degree in Business Administration, plus further qualifications in Digital Marketing. As well as undertaking marketing consultancy to private clients Carol currently runs the Hairy Bikers Diet Club alongside Accordant’s B2B Sales Club.
